Honeywell TruSteam Humidifier has a burnt out element

It sounds to me as though they have the market cornered on this unit. If it says the element is bad and they say they don't sell them, your only recourse is to but a new one. I think I would look into another brand, even though Honeywell are top of the line. It would seem to me if it says to replace it that it should be able to be replaced? I would call Honeywell myself and find out if I were you.

Honeywell TrueSteam Humidifier - I have 2 - one keeps flushing

don't know if this will help or not but dip switch 1 and 2 control the flush cycle on this unit. double check how they are set. the setting for flushing every 5 hours is not listed in the manual, but if both 1 and 2 are in the on position it will flush every 5 hours. hope this helps.

Honeywell HCM-525 owners/operation manual NEEDED PLEASE!

The filter should be located below the tank. the tank should lift off of the unit and there should be a rectangular cavity where the filter fits. You will most likely find the old filter dried up and filled with a white crust. That is salt and other minerals in the tap water that the filter catches.
