With all cards like the R4i Gold and R4i SDHC you need a cheat database file. Get the latest one form www.gbatemp.net
Hello,
The game showing up is part of the R4i SDHC firmware. It's necessary to bypass Nintendo piracy protection.
You just store the music files in a folder on the micro sd card. But you'll need to get a homebrew called Moonshell to open the music files. I got an iEdge card and its got moonshell integrated into the menu.
It's because the newest firmware blocks the R4i card, next time use google a bit more before you do a firmware update, you need to buy the newest R4i card, the newest moddel of that flash card works again with the newest firmware.
Tip: Buy the Hyper-R4i card instead of the R4i because the hyper-r4i has a reprogammable chip, you don't have to buy every time a new flash card, you just have to update the chip on the flashcard to bypass anny protection.
If the songs are mp3 files the dsi will not reconise them, they have to be in aac form to play on your dsi, but if you put mp3 file onto your r4i games card, they still wont play, after putting your songs onto your games card put them in the system file, then open your system file and go down, you will see the music to play, i did this for my grandson until his mum got him another sdcard, then i put his music on that, but i had to convert the to aac first. to go on the other card.
