well thats a mechanical problem but if you can try to give it for reparing

OS corroupted. Formet it and reinstall the OS. I suggest you try to use normal OS like windown SP2 etc.If you happy then thumps up for me.

try to go in control panel then find the sounds and audio devies and also in network connection and if you find the 2 properties try to configure out if the sounds and network are installed properly if not installed the sounds and network connection through your installation cds

Here is the problem, the laptop take 2GB RAM. 1GB in each slot, so get 2X1GB RAM. They are cheap now. You need 2, 1GB sticks of ram. For cheap prices go to Newegg.com

for the securty purpose only otherwise if some thing is deleted the you cannot work on it

check if the power botton ve not shifted on the board and confirm if the system was properly shut down,but if the problem continues try and repair the operating system.

You will have to replace the screen and/or the video card if it is detachable. Otherwise if you have no warranty it may not be worth the money to replace. Take it to a repair shop and have it looked at. They will tell you what it will cost. or you can do the labor yourself if you know how to get it apart. Ebay carries the screens and such by part number.
