Pioneer Pro 700HD picture distortion

I have a Pioneer Elite Pro 700HD. The picture now has a curve from botom right corner to bottom left corner. If there is a tv Logo in the left bottom corner it desplays twice one a little higher than the other. I have tried convergence but cannot fix. Some of the crosses are a couple inches apart and will not conect.
Thanks,

Jon

Reset pioneer tv

I rearranged furniture in my living room, picking up my pro-151fd elite, plugged it in to have no power, tried everything I could think of including an overnight reset. Thought of what could be the common denominator with most of the issues that people have, it's that they picked it up, felt under the front left and turned the tv on. The switch is not labeled, is part of a sqaure protrusion at the very bottom of the tv, 1" to the right of the "Pioneer" label, hope this helps someone who just has a dead tv without the blue flashing lights.

All my inputs create a rapidly rolling screen.

EITHER you have bad filtor capacitors in 5 & 9 volt circuits or you have bad electrolitic capacitors in vertical circuit. J.D.W.

Power problem on Pioneer Pro-700HD

The failure is not on the power supply but the convergence amplifiers STK ICs have the 24 volts shorted.
If that fuse is blowing, de-solder the convergence ICs and put a new fuse to power up the TV; you should see distorted video when the TV powers up and the fuse should not blow.
The service manual migth not help much in this case since the failure is easy to pin point.

Good Luck.

Panel Door for the Pioneer Elite Pro-91

I am still awaiting someone to give me advice on how to proceed, or where I can go to get help. I have contacted Star Electronics here in Suwanee and the owner, Nafiz came out and took my chassis back to the shop with him. His prices are very reasonable and he is really pleasant to work with. I hope it all works out. Please keep me informed if you have any other suggestions.

Thanks,

Blue lamp climbs up on a curve from center of screen

convergence sys. Usually they use STK ICs in there, replace them.
