Connect your wireless mouse while your wired one is in the computer. Now, if there were any CDs that came with your mouse then put them in your CD reader and go through the installation process. If there were no CDs, then search online and find a driver the suits your mouse. Download it and install it.
Do not unplug your old mouse while installing the new one. You need something to use while you can't use the new one :P

I have a cordless mouse/keyboard K350. The mouse M510 stopped working. Purchased several months ago. Now what?

If you can, check your wireless mouse with another computer to determine if it is working or not. If it works on the other computer, remove any M510 drivers from your computer. Plug the wireless adapter back in, and see if you computer recognizes it and the port it is plugged into (control panel/system/devices). If the computer recognizes it and loads software, try your mouse again.

How do yoou connect a wireless mouse to your computer

Connecting a wireless mouse to your computer is a great way to reduce clutter around your workplace.

Also, it is an alternative to using your laptop's directional pad.

Wireless mice work just as well as wired mice for most computing needs.

The only detail that wireless mice lack compared to wired mice is the DPI (dots per inch) and the frequency rate, which is essential to the "fast twitch" movements in gaming.

However, most people do not need highly responsive mice; therefore, wireless mice are perfect for any other computing activity other than gaming.

Insert batteries into your mouse.

If your mouse is rechargeable, charge it in the docking station provided with the mouse.

Buy a wireless adapter that works with your mouse. If your laptop is enabled with wireless technology or Bluetooth, skip to the next step.

Install the drivers for your mouse.

Reboot the computer to apply the changes.

Power on the mouse and let the computer recognize the new hardware. If you are using a mouse that requires software to run, enable the mouse in the software that is provided to you.

Hope this helps

How do I hook the wireless mouse

2 AAA batteries go into the Mouse itself.
You plug in the USB transmitter into any USB port (Windows will recognize the install the proper drivers for you automatically).
The Mouse should have a SYNC button (push that button after you add the 2 AAA batteries and have plugged the USB transmitter into a USB port).

The keyboard is not recognized by your PC. By the way, do you have the software installer for your keyboard.? Run the installer in your PC, and try again

Apple macbook will not recognize GE wireless mouse

I've got one of those. We had problems with it chewing batteries up. You might try another mouse on that computer, and try that mouse on another computer.
