JR3050T blade lock lever is stuck

The blade lock lever is stuck in the "unlock" or open position. Is there a way to fix this (without voiding the warranty or having to take it in for service? I just purchased this 2 days ago and nit hasn't even seen action yet. The blade lock system worked well for the 30 minutes i had it before the spring lever became stuck!Any help would be appreciated!

Put a blade in it.
This will release the locked open feature.

New Ignition Barrel. Same prob. Key will not turn to off position

It sounds like you need to replace the (electric)ignition switch. When they go bad you will usually hear a crunch sound, they can be so bad as to overheat and cause other issues.

There's probably nothing wrong with the OEM key/barrel.

I own a Dewalt dw304p reciprocating saw and I cannot put in a blade because the blade clamp release lever is stuck in the up position. What can I do to fix this?

I had this problem when I first purchased my saws-all from Home Depot. There is a screw at the base of the blade housing. Loosen it up a little and the blade lock should pop back into the down position.c3291d70-d20e-4116-8972-743d243e731a.jpg

My lever to my Dewalt xrp reciprocating saw some how got stuck in the lock position and i have no idea how to remove the lever to fix it

Often when these recip saws get jammed around the blade or lever it is usually due to sawdust or grit that has worked it's way into the mechanism or else the mechanism has actually broken. After a full day of work I often have trouble getting blades removed.

First try spraying the whole mechanism with silicone lubricant and let it soak in. Try tapping as forcefully as you can around the mechanism without breaking anything. If the lever and mechanism isn't actually snapped off somewhere, this usually does the trick.

Both door locks do not work properly. I can only open the drivers side door from the inside. And the passengers side door will not open at all. This is on a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport.

Do any of the door handles inside or out feel sloppy (when you pull on them does it feel like there is nothing connected to them)?

If so that the levers on the latches are probably rusted up and sticking. Say for example the outside door handle lever that is attached to the door latch is stuck half way in the open position it will not allow the door lock mechanism to lock or unlock. The door will still latch and stay closed because the lever will not be stuck far enough to release the latch mechanism from hold on to the striker.

I have had pretty good luck removing the door latch (the part that actually holds the door closed) and soaking in penetrating lube and working all the levers until they move freely.

As far as the door that doesn't open I suspect it is stuck in the lock position and one of the handle mechanisms is in the partial up position. Again the symptom would be a sloppy door handle. That lever will need to be put back in its normal resting position before the door can be unlocked. This can be done with a slim jim. Once you have the door panel apart on the door that still opens you will be able to see the parts you need to move. You can then use that knowledge to move those parts on the other door that doesn't open.

If you don't have any experience with a lockout kit (i suspect most people do not) that that's the best way I can describe how you can do this yourself.

Lexmark X83 "Unlock Scanner" error

I had the same problem and the solution is this: There is a red lever switch by the power chord on the scanner/printer. Above this red lever switch is the drawing of a lock in the "locked" position and at the bottom this red lever switch is the drawing of a lock in the "opened (unlock)" position. The lever on the red switch should point to the "opened" lock symbol (unlock). It the switch lever is pointing to the "locked" position of the lock symbol, flip it to the "opened" position and recycle power on the scanner by removing the power chord for a 30 seconds. If the lever is pointing to the "unlock" lock symbol, flip it to the "locked" position and then back to the "unlocked" position and recycle power. Good luck!
