No power Mitsubishi Big Screen

Sounds like the power supply went bad. Repeated on/off pushing of the buttons causes the set to go into shut down. If a part is marginal this is when it'll go bad. Usually a bad power supply part and will need professional repair. Please rate!

Mitsubishi WT-4605 - picture going dark, comes back

Good Day, rflinker;

Please check for fluid on the TV's PCB's, look toward the front of those boards, ensure all cables are properly seated into their sockets.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

Mits 46805 - Replaced IC's now picture is dim!

Good Day, Nickb2b;

The IC's you installed will not cause a dark/dim picture......but I would like you to check two things:

1. Make sure you put all cables that you may have unplugged into their proper positions, the cables are marked with numbers, ensure all cables are properly seated,

2. Look for fluid on the PCB's.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

1998 mitsubishi big screen tv model vs-50603

Good Day, bigjim;

No inner tube. The tube may light up but it no video bias to turn the tube on, or the tube is so gassy that it doesn't emit properly.

It sounds like you will be in the market for another TV, because it sounds like like the CRT may be bad.

Hope this was helpful and not tooo late.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

Mitsubishi WT 46805 ~ Picture gone..... :0(

Good Day, Corri;

It sounds like the TV has a Circuit problem in the convergence circuit. If it comes and goes then the concern can be corrected by re-soldering the 'conv' output IC"s. A semi-minor repair and cost.

Good Luck, big IRISH.
