TRY UR PS3 ON ANOTHER TV

Try a different game to see if the problem is with the game or the console.

Maybee a dodgy power lead try replacing it

It's highly likely that your PS3 blu-ray drive just died.

Hello. You may want to double check your connections and cables. The only time I've ever heard a clicking before a system shut it's self down was when a kid had stuck the battery cover from a TV remote into the disc drive.
Also, if the PS3 keeps acting like that, Sony will repair/replace the unit for free including shipping since it's under a year old. Thanks and good luck!

you need to go to your setting and change your automatic shutoff timer. this will cause your system to turn off every 15 minutes no matter what you are doing...

Call sony or take your ps3 apart and clean the lens

i have the same problem dude. I played my PS3 pretty regularly for about 6 months, then one day it started freezing. I have been searching for a solution ever since, but all Ive been able to find out is that i can send it to Sony, with $150, and they will fix it and give me a ninety day warranty. But other than that i can't help you. If you found a better way, let me know please.

the eye on your ps3 might not be able to register any videogames because of the different code that the dvd but calling sony customer service can help. you might be able to get the optical eye replaced for little money and you can be playing in no time!
