Everytime i turn my xbox 360 on a red light comes

e74 at the bottom of the screen?if your xbox is less than 3 years old send it back to microsoft as they have extended the warrenty period to 3 years, e74 is code for graphical issues could be the graphics card. hope this helps.

It's probably just the red ring, you can fix that with almost ALL 3 red ring fixes.

Cause there both CAUSED by the motherboard shifting.

Google PENNY TRICK, it doenst always work UNTIL the box is completely screwed back in.

it,s worth a look at the xbox forums on the internet regarding this.
dependant on how many red lights you have, the console has overheated. or you have a A/V output fault.
Look on the xbox 360 forums sites for further Information.

You could have a faulty power supply. Have you checked to make sure everything is hooked up properly? When you turn your xbox on have a look at the light on the power brick, its usually green when its working fine and orange when the xbox is turned off, if its red there could be a problem with it.

It's a common fault with X boxes, the red lights indicate overheating, so make sure it is well ventillated and if neccasary you can purchase an add on cooler for the system.
