Make sure you are inserting the correct cartridge versions for your Lexmark X5470 printer. Color cartridges compatible for your model are #33 and #35.
Try to re-insert the right cartridge into the printer. If that doesn't help, remove the right cartridge from your printer again. Close the printer cover. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power
supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the
printer, and put it back after 30 seconds. When the printer turns on, re-insert your right cartridge. Close the printer cover and check for any errors. Try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed. If the problem continues, try to do the Clean Cartridge function from the printer operator panel. On Copy mode, press the Menu button > select Tools > select Maintenance > select Clean Cartridges. Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them. Try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed. If the error still appears on the display screen, you probably have a faulty cartridge. Please replace it with a new genuine Lexmark cartridge.

The Prepare Black Toner error is likely directly related. If the toner cartridge is empty, inserted incorrectly, or damaged it could be causing this error. Try reseating the cartridge by removing and reinserting. If that doesn't clear the error try replacing it with a new Canon branded cartridge.

My guess is that the color cartridge is either defective or not inserted correctly. I have a 6110 and know that inserting a print cartridge is a little tricky. If it isn't completely inserted and the top latch fastened correctly, the cartridge either won't work or produce errors.
Try reseating the color cartridge so it's inserted in exactly the same way as the black cartridge and run a print job again.
Open the following web page and go to Step three to see the instructions for cleaning the electronic contacts on the cartridge and print carriage.

Error 1102 means cart error. Try cleaning the copper contacts on the cart and the contacts in the printer also. If still fails, then put old carts and check if u still get same error. If u dont get the error then there is a problem with the cart itself. But if you have bought a refilled cart then the print heads on the carts are bad. Needs replacement.
