Sometimes when dealing with IP addresses, DNS, etc... you system does not update automatically. in your case, i think you are having a problem of renewing IP address and gateway... open Run CMD.
type ipconfig /release.
this command shall release all automatic IP. then you do ipconfig /renew. this shall renew the ip address.

To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router’s wireless settings configured and also needs the wireless cards in all the laptops and or computers to be configured with the router’s wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.

If you cannot get into the Belkin's wireless configuration you can reset the router back to the default settings by pressing the RESET button at the back of the router for 7 secs. The setup IP address is 192.168.2.1 and the default password is blank.

Here's what you can do. Don't connect the Linksys router yet to the hub. Connect 1 computer directly to the Linksys router. Access the router's setup page of the Linksys router thru http://192.168.1.1

It will prompt you for username and password. No username and password is admin.

Look for Local IP Address or LAN IP Address. Change the LAN or Local IP Address of the Linksys router to 192.168.5.1 then click on Save Settings at the bottom. Right after saving the settings, unplug the power of the Linksys router, connect it to the hub and it should be good to go.

have you typed the key exactly? viz uppercase/lowercase. The switch(hub) might have MAC address filtering on. also check if the switch(hub) has a DHCP running, which allocates IP addresses, if not you need to set your wireless connections IP address within the same range as the switch. If all else fails attempt to connect the switch via a utp network cable which should have been suplied with the switch(hub) so you can access the switch and make the necessary changes... email me on [email protected] should you need more info.

If the printer does not have a built-in network card/print server then there is a couple of ways to do this.
If you have a desktop computer connected to the wireless router with a LAN cable, then connect the printer to the desktop computer and make this printer a shared printer on your network. This means that the desktop computer and printer needs to be on when you want to print from the laptop.
The other way is to purchase a print server, connect the printer to the print server and connect the print server with a LAN cable to the Wireless router.
If you don't have sufficient network ports on the wireless router then you need to purchase a hub. Then connect the hub and wireless router with a LAN cable and then the print server to the hub and other computers to the hub.
Setting up the wireless printing will depend upon which method you want to adopt and I can advise you when further when you are ready.

Could be a variety of reasons.
Assuming you have not had it working before
Assuming the wifi is broadcasting it SSID
Assuming you have laptop connected by ethernet cable to hub:

Assuming you have XP:

Go to start/control panel/network connections/right click the wireless lan icon and select properties/select wireless connections and delete ALL previous entries.

With Vista go:start globe then

Control Panel\Network and Sharing\Manage Wireless Networks and delete all entries

Now:

press windows key and R
type cmd and enter
type ipconfig and enter
note lower set of figures ie 192.168.0.1
open browser and type in those figures and enter
should now open router firmware
When asked for log in use defaults of admin - admin or admin - password

navigate to wireless security and set encryption to WEP 64bit and create a simple encryption code - save settings

Change broadcast channel to 8

make sure wifi is set to open and not shared

Save all settings, allow hub to reboot and now see what happens

Disable DHCP in the router. Connect the modem to a LAN jack on the router. You'll have 3 LAN ports. If you need more ports, buy a hub. (You can change the default IP address on the Linksys, but you can't forward through 2 NATs.)

most router normally have one or two WAN connection port and one LAN connection port.

if you are connecting your desktop with the available LAN port then you need a hub or switch to create multiple connection .

alternatively if your router have two LAN port make sure you are using the right ip address and the proper gateway address(from your isp)
