Have you changed the lamp? If not the lamps life is around every two to three years. The lamp is easy to change out. Most local repair shops carry the lamps. Hope this helps.
Most common resolution to this is to replace the lamp. When nearing the end of life cycle for the lamp, it will either warn you with a "Low Lamp Life" on the display or cycle power on/off. Replace the lamp and the problem should stop. Other possibility AFTER you replace the lamp and have the same issue is the ballast board. Not as common, but it happens. Your lamp has a life cycle of approx. 6000 hours, give or take. Replace with ONLY the Phillips factory bulb. It should be The XL-2200 and can be found on EBAY Google Shopping etc. for anywhere from 120.00 for just the lamp to 190.00 for lamp and housing. It's easy to replace and comes with instructions. you need to go into the TV's menu and select replace projection lamp menu and follow the on screen instructions to verify and reset the lamp timer, (its in your instruction manual , in detail) , i am awaiting a new phillips bulb for mine, as i always use the original enclosure, no need for extra plastic, and its easy to complete the swap, and reset hours via TV menu

Along with the instructions for the lamp installation, you should have revceived instructions on how to reset the lamp counter. If not, this operation is listed in the owner's manual. If you can not locate that manual, please confirm your model number and I will post the instructions. Since the counter has not been reset, the TV will continue to show the "error" message.
