Hi there,

what you can do is transfer those pictures to a computer before deleting the pictures in the camera. whenever your take pictures, they are directly stored to the memory card. accordingly to your preferred memory storage. so if in doubt, save your pics to a computer before deleting.

hope this helps.

My sony cyber shot camera suddenly is saying that my Lexar 4GB CompactFlash Premium Series 80x needs to be formatted. What about my pictures?

You might have locked memory card. If not first try to connect memory card to PC with memory card reader and try to copy your stuff... then after you take all stuff try to format it.

Remove your memory card first. Hit play and when you see a picture, go to your picture menu (generally the same menu button) choose erase and then erase all frames.

How do i earse a memory card from a sony cyber-shot DSC-w1 camera?

if the memory is in the camera you can only delete one picture at a time. You can always insert the memory stick into your home computer and delete everything. Any time you format your memory card everything on there is erased also. There is no provision in the w100 manual to format the memory card so you will probably need to do it on the computer.

If you can attach the w100 to the computer you can access the memory card through the camera. I would be glad to walk you through it if you want to contact me directly. 713-204-9111 ask for AL. Thanks and if this helps you please leave me good feedback.
thanks

Hi,

A quick way to delete all pics is to format the memory card (but you lose all other files on the card too).
