Just purchased a Duet dryer from a friend who's moving (it's two years old). The dryer works fine but I can't get the large cycle knob to work on any cycle but "delicate". The "delicate" light is flashing. I called Whirlpool and, after trying to "clear" the system by unplugging for a period and also pushing the "pause cancel" button twice, the problem remains. Anyone have the same issue and have suggestions? Thanks much!
Control board u got it
I suggest that you replace the whole part of the knob. It is called CYCLE KNOB.
Hi you can actually open that with a few screw drivers and stuff, the problem comes in where you need to identify the part and from there you will need to find a replacement of that specific part.
however, if you ask some service shops about the control switch part, they might actually have this.
hope this helps.
That knob is actually a switch. fixing it will be much easier, if you replace the whole switch unit..
good luck..

Thanks for the reply. Is there no way of opening up and checking out the cycle control switch to see if it can be repaired without replacing the whole thing? If I need to replace it, what's the easiest way of getting the part number? Thanks.
Do you mean replacing the "control board" or the user interface "control panel"?
Should I replace the "control board" or the user interface "control panel"? Thanks.
The inductive proximity sensor can be used to all kinds of sensor metallic targets only. The main components of the inductive proximity sensor are coil, oscillator, detector and the output circuit.
The coil generates the Nagano keiki Pressure sensor high frequency magnetic field in front of abs speed sensor the face. When the metallic target comes in this magnetic field it absorbs some of the energy. Hence the oscillator field is affected. This is detected by mazda 6 suction control valve . if the oscillation amplitude reaches a certain threshold value the output switches suction control valve .
The inductive proximity sensor works better with Speed Sensor ferromagnetic targets as they absorb more energy compare to non Ferromagnetic materials Pressure Sensor . Hence operating distance for sensor is more for Ferromagnetic targets.Suction Control Valve
