Hi. You are most likely going to have to remove the projector *and* the projector mounting plate in order to access the lamp door. Mark the orientation of the projector mount plate with a marker and set aside. Remove the lamp door with a proper screwdriver. The PROJECTOR MUST BE COOL TO PROCEED!! The lamp will be secured, usually with 2 screws. Loosen these screws--new screws should come with the new lamp--already held in position. Using the hinged metal handle, pull the old lamp straight up and out of the projector. ( you might have to wiggle it and work it out steadily--its a precision fit) Take your time and *don't force* it! Carefully slide the new lamp into position, taking care that the power connector on the lamp assembly is properly seated. MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU DO NOT TOUCH ANY LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS!!! If you do get finger prints on any glass surfaces, carefully wipe them off completely with a dry, soft cloth--DO NOT USE CLEANER!! This is critical to the life of the new lamp--finger oil attracts heat and will cause the new lamp to fail pre-maturely. Re-attach the lamp door--make sure you don't over-tighten any screws on lamp or door--they need to be firmly tight but not "gorilla" tight! lol Clean any dust filters thoroughly before re-attaching the mounting plate--you'll be glad you did! After re-mounting the projector, power it up and go into the menu in order to reset the lamp timer.--Hope I helped you!---Rick
