What I have here is a manual of your router. You do not need to run the installation cd. Along with this link is a step by step manner on how to reinstall your router. If you do have further question please message me.
For future reference, tbe first thing you should do is go to the manufacture's support page for the specific product. Here is the address for D-Link's support page with firmware and all other additional downlosds you should need. http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=DIR-615&rev=DIR-615... If that does not work I apologize I could not copy and paste it so just got dirrctly to dlink.com then navigate to support. Good luck.
Contrary to the many warnings not to install the router before starting the installation with the CD, I got the installation to complete only AFTER I installed the router inline thusly:
1. Power everything off.
2. Remove DI-604.
2. Install and connect 615 router to computer and to modem.
3. Apply power to router and modem.
4. Apply power to computer and wait until Windows loads.
5. Insert 615 installation CD.
6. Follow the directions.
