I copied tcpmp player to my Xda but it says that it is not a valid pocket pc application.

Xda Orbit returned to o2 for repair.
It would not sync with computer. Apparently videos must be be syncronised, not copied directly to memory card.
    Thanks for help!

I Used 2G mem card, formatted to FAT32
Video format 470 x 270 (16:9)
Frame Rate 25 Fps
Compression = XVID
Audio MP3 22Khz (128kbps)
Name file VideoA.avi for trigger by PB1 connector
Name file VideoB.avi for trigger by PB2 connector
Name file VideoC.avi for trigger by PB3 connector
Name file VideoD.avi for trigger by PB4 connector

Not sure how to copy the video into the screen, but mem cards are so cheap, it's not really a problem ;)

Have Fun :)

My samsung Gt-s 3353 does not play any mp4 or 3gp video file and reports unsupported media type.. what to do?

You need to convert the video you wish to play to make it such as AVI file so that you can play it on your phone.

Download this Video converter, install and run it in your computer, then enter the video you wish to convert and then place the converted video on your memory card then play it.

I assume you are using the Windows Media Player to play the .avi formats on your OS Windows PC?

If this is the case, you do not have the necessary "codecs" to play the .avi files. Download & install the latest codec package ie K-Lite Mega Codec Pack or K-Lite Codec Pack @ http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm

Hope it helps.

An avi file is a movie. What kind of file is it supposed to be? Quick Time will play it. Or you can use a converter like Convertx to DVD, which will convert it to mpeg3 or 4, is that what you are trying to do?

Hw to play avi files

Hi,
Unfortunately your phone can't play .avi files. The only video formats it supports are .mp4 and .3gp. You will need to convert your .avi file to one of the two file formats I mentioned in order to watch the video on your phone. Good luck!

You need to convert the .avi files to the MPEG format with software. Just renaming the file will not work.
