MY LG NEON IS SAYING ENTER PUK CODE BUT I DONT KNO IT

PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is enteredafter the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and willrequire a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider.
PUK codes can be obtained through the following ways - The PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack.If you do not have this then -Please contact your phone service provider.
Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once you give themyour account details and they have confirmed your identity.

Ok, if you are talking about the phone security code which was usually asked when the phone has been restarted, here is how we fix this.

You will need to enter in the wrong code until you are prompted to enter the PUK code. Click HERE to read how retrieve the PUK code.

Do not enter any code into your phone. The PUK code is a code that your service provider has and not one that you would know or have in your manual. If your an AT&T customer they do provide PUK on their website. If you have entered in a code and the phone is now saying PUK blocked you'll have to go to store to purchase a new SIM card. puk code doesn correspond to ur mobile.. it corresponds to ur sim card... call ur networks customer care and ask them 4ur puk code... nvr enter ur puk code wrongly 4 more than 3 tyms... ur sim will b blocked and will bcom useless

How To Get A Free Unlock Code 1. First, get your LG Neon’s IMEI number by, typing *#06#.
2. The first 15 digits of output are your LG Neon’s IMEI number.
3. Call up your phone carrier’s support line and ask for an unlock code.
4. They will ask for your phone’s IMEI number and give you an unlock code in exchange.

If your phone carrier will not provide you with a free unlock code for your LG NGT365, then you should probably look to either software unlocking or to buying an unlock code from a website. How To Unlock Your LG Neon GT365 1. Power up your LG Neon and press: *#865625#
2. Hit “Yes” to move on.
3. Enter the 16 digit unlock code
4. Enter the 16 digit unlock code a second time
5. LG Neon will say “Network Lock Deactivated” and might reboot
And now you can enjoy your new unlocked LG Neon GT365. If you want to see a screenshot with each step, check out this website. This same process may work with other LG Neon models, but I have never tried it. I would avoid trying this too many times if it doesn’t work the first time. Otherwise you could damage your phone.

One way is by going to your AT&T and tell them to unlock your LG Neon and when they do ask them if they can reset it so you wont have any more problems with the PUK code.

it is a network code. do not put it wrong or the sim card will say good bye ... .call ur service providers hotline and ask for a PUK code.

you will need to call your customer service for your phone and tell them you need the puk . they will give you the puk number you need to enter

ok enter wrong password for more then 5 times,it ll ask u to enter the puk number....now call your customer care and get the
puk number...enter the puk number in the space given for password....thats it...problem is fixed
If you had locked your mobile then update the formware all saved passwords will be deleted.

To turn off your security code you must login in your phone menu then disable security feature. But if your phone already locked you can unlock lg neon security code with your puk code from your sim card package. Type any password until your phone asking you to enter puk code then type your puk code and your phone will be unlocked. If you didn;t have that puk code you still can unlock lg phone by asking that puk code from your network provider and they will not take any charges from you.
