Calls & texts dont come through

I would check with sprint to see if your account is up to date. Otherwise, I would suggest going to your settings and see if you can update your phones's prl and profile. go to settings, tap "About phone", Tap "System updates", then tap each option. Good Luck!

This building is preventing cell phone signals from reaching your phone. Try using your cell next to a window where signal are not obstructed by reinforced concrete walls.

goto settings>Phone>application settings>log

set the log duration to 30 days..bingo..

Turn the phone off, count to 5, then turn it back on. It should find the nearest tower for a signal. A bad SIM card won't do this either like one person said. He/she was lied to at the store or by Customer Service. I used to work for AT&T Wireless & this Emergency Only issue was a big one. A bad SIM card won't allow you to place or receive calls or text messages. T-Mobile runs on the GSM network like Cingular/AT&T does. usually the 4 digit code is the last 4 numbers of your cells number...

does anyone know how to fix this problem? My cell does voice calls in and out with no issues, I can send text messages out, but I do not get text messages coming in. I only got 4 on the day it was activated and once by tech support. Now I cna use the cell for voice calls in and out and text sent out... how do I make the phone allow me to receive text messages?? another site said to upgrade-update software but that option is not in my phones menu at the settings section.

probably you did a firmware update or installed apps
click on white button - log - options - highlight recent calls - options - settings - change log to 10 days - once it shows 10 days double click on 10 days to ensure that it gets set and then press back (not before that)
switch phone off and then on - it should work - then you can change the log back to 30 days

You're going to have to call your carrier and ask them to block the number for you, you can't do anything on your phone.
If it's a telemarketer, you could put your number on one of those "Do Not Call" lists, but it usually takes up to a month for the calls to stop.

I have found that the second line can be selected in the call log screen, if your number isn't displayed below the time then highlight and select your main phone number this should allow you to access the features once again

i don't use 1-000-000-0000 and my caller id works fine with text and calls
