Pixelated iPad screen

You have damaged the internal video chip and/or screen. If you have purchased the iPad less then a year ago you may still have warranty coverage but Im not sure if that covers drop damage. If you purchased Apple Care you should be able to get it fixed or replaced by Apple. You can also look up the status of your apple care agreement by entering your hardware serial# here:

If it is running the whole width of the screen then the screen is faulty. If you have only just purchased it, get it repaired under warranty.

Attach an external monitor to your PC. If the problem continues there, it's your graphics card.
If the problem disappears, you have stuck/dead pixels.
You could try a very gentle rubbing of the pixel(s).

hi this might help you:

*search the invoice and contact your dealer/ place where you've bought it.
this may indicate a fabrical fault, i mean that electronically there's something wrong that either the screen isn't able to show the right pixels once in a while so to say, or that whatever creates the order to form the colors is damaged....

The screen will propably have to be replaced.

if this doesn't solve it i really wouldn't know what to do.
i've been selling tv's for 6 months and have seen customers with these problems.

Black lines appeared on the screen

im sorry but it seems thats the screen had a dead pixel from when you bought it, the dead pixel has then since killed off the surounding pixels and they in turn have done the same. this sometimes forms a line but in some more unfortunate cases the screen can lose visual on both x and y axis's.
unfortuantly your manufaturers warrenty will not cover dead pixels as they are so common and there is a torrerance for them without doing harm, but some times dead pixels can spread.

hope this helps.
