This is what I get for 10 bucks? The hot link was for windows, and the other links aren't hot. You really don't know
anything about my problem, do you? Just tell me what buttons to push on my computer, or some other real solution. I have all kinds of software; iDVD, iMovieHD, etc, and the software included w/ the camera, and I admitt I don't know much about what I'm doing, but I think it's just some action that I need to take that an expert could probably guide me to.
I'll look for some software solution, but thanks, anyway.

How can I connect my Sony handycam DCR-DVD710 to my MacBook computer to download movie footage? thanks

We used a Firewire to connect to the 1394 ports between the camera and computer, it is thicker than the usual wire that connects to the USB ports to download still images. You'll need software like File Maker to download the video. Good luck!

Did you shoot the movies in AVCHD Lite? Most computers, especially Macs can't use it. However, if you use Toast 10 Titanium, it will burn it to a DVD.

JVC GR-D275U Driver for mac

You would need to use iMovie. Most MacBooks come with this already installed but if you can't find it you might have to buy it from apple's website. All you have to do is open iMovie with the camera connected and on and import the movie into iMovie, then you can edit the way you want it to be. iMovie has some great tutorials as well. Importing and editing can take a while, however.
