Question about GE 25931 Trio Cordless Phone
My GE Cordless phone, model 25931 will not pick up either of the extensions if another of them is already in use. If I pick up one of the other handsets and punch the "TALK" button, the screen doesn't light up. Instead, after a few seconds, the message "Unavailable" flashes on the unbacklit screen and the phone goes back to "Ready" status. Meanwhile, the original handset will remain on line and in use. This applies to any of the three handsets.
Also, how do I get off speakerphone while continuing to talk (without hanging up)?
Some of the cordless phones do not allow more than one handset to be used at the same time. Is there a transfer button on the handsets? Can you call from one handset to the other? If not the phones probably have to be used one at a time.
To get off speaker phone just push the speaker phone button again.
