They are brand new hoses and washers. Thanks tho.

Does anyone know about the fill valve? It is where the hoses actually connect into the machine. It is plastic and maybe the plastic is cracked or the piece may need to be replaced. But I can't determine if this is a fix.

The washers were separate and I had to install them in both ends of the new hoses. I still want to know about the fill valve? Thanks

Why when washing machine ends cycle it keeps leaking water

If water is leaking only during the times when it is supposed to be coming in , then the first places to check are at the hose connections and the hoses themselves. If it continues to leak after the water stops coming in , then you have to look at the drain connection and finally at the drum seal.

Realistically, a 10-year old Maytag is nearing the end of its usual life. The pump may be leaking at random times during a wash cycle. If you put 50% of the cost of a new one into repairs, it is time to thing seriously about replacement of the machine.

Water will not fill.

If no water comes in on hot or cold, replace the water valve. That is the valve the hoses connect to.

Maytag PAV2300AWW Washer leaks while filling

Welcome to Fixya
My name is Huum,

Why did you change the hoses with old ones?
If you are going to change them use new ones!

Sounds like the drain hose connection to the washer is not tight or not secured, or not fitting th connection because it is from a different washing machine.
Or there is a hole in the inner tub and leaking out on the floor.

Do you know the ones that sold it to you?

My Maytag Performa 2300 appears to have grease leaking out of the point where the top of the agitator connects with the bottom of the agitator.

Get a new one. You either have a bad tranny or a seal leak. Either way the cost is about 60 - 80% of the cost of a new one.
