My mouse is not working on my sony vaio. there is nothing in the hardware that shows that i ever had one.

Plz see wether the mouse connection from the mouse pad is connected correctly. if it is connected then go to the control pannel in your operating system and go to the add hardware option here you can select the mouse option and install it. if this also dosent work reinstall the operating system

Vaio wireless MOUSE VGP-WMS1
Sony VAIO don't need special drivers. These have special receivers that ONLY work with intended models. The receiver is connected via USB inside the computer and it has a button that says "Connect" you have to press it simultaneously on the computer and the mouse or keyboard in order to pair it.

if you don't have the correct Sony VAIO computer you don't have that hardware that connects to the mouse and keyboard.

I have A VAIO VGC-V517G and i formatted the harddrive then reinstalled the same version of windows and i/ve gotten all of the main drivers back but i cant get the wireless mouse to work, i don't h

Check it first under the "My Computer" -> "Hardware" -> "Device Manager" -> "Mouse" Check whether there is a yellow "?".
You can also change the mouse test, if can do it, it shows the original mouse is broken.

My laptop left mouse button has stopped working
Common hardware problem. The correct solution is a replacement tracker pad and mouse, however you may be able to get the problem fixed by cleaning under the pad. Either way it requires taking the laptop apart.

Keyboard not working!
Let your computer boot as normal.Go to Device manager>under keyboards your wireless keyboard should show. If its not there reload it from the set up disc that came with your hardware i.e keyboard and mouse.If its listed enable it or uninstall and reinstall.
