Do i need oxygen to spray urathane auto paint at home

Might be best to go into Home Depot with it and ask at the information counter for them to look in their computer to suggest how to replace. Unsure what exactly needs to be replaced - a used sprayer sold for $40 last year online, so it may be affordable to buy an entire unit used.

Sure, why not?. I've sprayed kitchen cabinets in my driveway, dining room chairs (metal, with auto paint) on my patio, wood paneling and more.
I would suggest using drop cloths or plastic to cover whatever you're not spraying, as spray will spread, especially if you use a water-based paint.

Could try grim and wax remover/prep for auto bodies. Auto stores have it. Then polish/ wax the spot.

automotive paints require a good clean and well prepared surface like light waterpaper sanding to remove any oily or fatty resedu and the correct undercoat before applying a new coatings otherwise it will not last chipping or peeling will occur.

Let me start by saying these types of paint sprayers are not usually recommended for painting large things like room walls because you're going to spend a lot of time refilling the paint cup. The cup only holds 20 ounces of paint and that won't go very far on your walls. If all your paint isn't mixed and properly thinned at the same time your walls could end up with a checker board look. You would usually be way further ahead to rent an airless paint sprayer.
If you have to use it; first run your paint through a paint strainer, avaliable at any paint or box store (The Home Deopt, Lowes, etc). Even new paint has impurities that will clog paint guns. It's highly recommended you mix in a paint conditioner like Flotrol but not absolutely necessary. Next, you're going to have to experiment with the consistency of the paint to get a good even flow out of the gun. The thinner you have to make the paint to get a good flow, the lighter and more coats you're going to have to apply. It's also recommended to run a paint soaked roller over the wall right after you spray it to even out the paint and remove any overlap marks.

because you used activator so the paint will be dried fast, therefore u probably want to paint it in a fast pace. set inlet air pressure at 2 bar, fluid control all the way until the trigger is loose. fan all the way open. paint it closer then normal and move fast.....i dont use activator but that's probably how i would do.

a great fix for this problem is to take the Jeep to a ' Good ' auto paint shop and have them prep and paint the panels with a good quality anti-fade paint. make sure the paint shop warranties their work against chips and flaking. make sure they are going to use a good quality paint and primer.
this should only cost about 150.00 to 200.00 dollars at a good paint shop, with a turn around time of about 1 1/2 days.
now if you want to avoid that cost -- you can go down to your local auto parts store and buy a spray paint that works on plastics--- you will need to prep,primer and spray the panels following the instructions on the can -- the spray paint that they make these days come in many shades and hold up very well to the weather and sun,,just mask off the Jeep very well so you don't get over spray on the rest of the vehicle. make sure you keep one of the empty spray cans or a half full can around for future color match application. the cost of the spray paint can vary on quality and maker, usually around 8.00 to 16.00 dollars per can,, and primer and other supplies should run you around 30.00 more dollars. call around and shop around and ask lots of questions --- stop buy your local auto paint shop and ask them for a free estimate,, you might find a place that will do it even cheaper then I had quoted above (?).

Take to an autopaint supplyer theres a code # they will know where it is you can get an exact match and you can even get in a spray can they can put the paint in the can I have done it with mind and it comes out good with a spray can
