My tv has lines in it like the verticle/horizontal is out of wack. It used to go away after it heats up, but now it's all the time. Is it fixable and what do I need to do. The model # is VS-60607 and I have had it for about 6 or 7 years.

I have a KF-42E200A Sony Bravia LCD tv. Recently we had to replace the lamp. Since then a horizontal line appeared at the top of the screen and it has grown to about 3 inches now. The picture itself is...

The lenses in the TV are more than likely misaligned due to heat from lamp. The heat can cause the lenses to move and the red shaded horizontal line appears over time because the lenses fall out of alignment.

You just need to have the lenses realigned and the red shading will go away.

Tv screen often shakes

The screen is controlled by two speeds a verticle and horizontal. this speeds are voltages and currents which are controlled by components like capacitors and semi conductors, like zener diodes so take your tv to w/shop, so that a technician can test your above components, on the verticle and horizontal, aspecially eletrolitic capacitors. around that place is always hot and these components has oil inside, the oil gets dry due to long time of heating

Horizontal lines and color problems?

this could be a format issue. When you change the channel do the lines go away ? If so try to go into the cable box (assuming you have a cable box) and reset your formats and exclude the format causing the lines.Make sure if your using component cables all colors match up.If this does not fix it replace your component cables/hdmi.All else fails unplug your TV wait 5 min. and plug it back in. Hope this works for you.

Horizontal white line

Verticle output transistor. It will be mounted to a heat sink. t should have Verticle stamped on the circuit somewhere near the Transistor. Locate the numbers on tht Tansistor and let me know what numbers and letters are, and i will post a link to where you can buy a replacement.

Proscan PS35123-horizontal line only,sound ok

You have whats called a verticle swep falure. Its probably just the verticle output IC but if you dont know much about soldering or circuit troubleshooting ,you should leave this to the pros. Theres way to much Hi voltage inside these sets to twiddle around inside them. Also there are no consumer serviceable parts inside these sets as well, as they are all solid state, and my advice is spend a few bucks and get a pro to do this job for ya, as it can, and will, kill ya if your not careful.. Is it worth saving a few bucks??? Naawww Call a pro.. Good Luck
