My friend had the same problem and she called this number 1-888-777-0773 to report it and request a replacement and they were able to help. She did ask however why this has not been recalled and he said it is because she was the first one to report this problem.

SOURCE: The crock insert of the KSC700 keeps cracking.

I would suggest calling Kitchenaid Customer Service. This may be an indication that the heating element is simply getting too hot, causing the ceramic insert to fracture.

I would suggest calling Kitchenaid Customer Service. They may replace the entire appliance for you under the 1 Year manufacturer's warranty.

Their toll free phone number is 1-800-541-6390.

Call Kitchenaid Customer Service. Under warranty, they will send a new insert out to you. They may even send a new insert out regardless of warranty for customer satisfaction. At the very worst, they will offer you a discounted pricing on a replacement insert. Their toll-free telephone number is:

Need a manual for a Delta Slow Cooker, model SC650S.......Can anyone help please

Hello -

I have not yet found any user manual for a Delta (Delta Kitchen) slow cooker online.

It seems that the brand name Delta (Delta Kitchen) has been owned by Aldi, the international grocery store chain.

The slow cooker sold by Alda, the Crofton brand name NSC-650, MAY be the same as the Delta SC650S.

This is the link to the PDF document for the Crofton NSC-650:
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/188348/Crofton-Nsc-650.html#manual

Best wishes.

NO, these stoneware inserts are not meant for the high dry heat of conventional ovens. It will crack in the oven...use only in the crockpot!

The ceramic insert cracked, how much would it cost to replace?

You can try the West Bend site or replacements.com. If those two fail, try eBay for the insert.
