Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 Blurred image

I have Sony CyberShot DSC-H2 for last 3 years. Suddenly since yesterday the screen has started showing blurred screen. i.e. if the object has some light, then the screen shows (yellowish) white, if less light then black, and so on. Is it a problem with the internal chip? What is the solution to it? What would be tentative cost of repairing?

Something in the lens unit is broken. The unit can't be fixed but needs to be replaced with a new or unit unit. A new lens unit would cost about half the price of the camera though...

My Sony Cybershot DSC V1 viewfinder screen very briefly shows the taken image and this then quickly fades to a foggy whiteout which sometimes shows the ghost of the image taken. The same image shows when...

It is possible that the image sensor which is the CCD- charge coupled device is faulty and will need a replacement. However it is important that the OE part is required and so is best to take consensus with Sony spares and service.

Viewfinder of Sony DSC-H2 does not work anymore

Viewfinder has focus lever at bottom, please adjust viewfinder internal focus as per your eye sight looking on-screen display. Every thing will be fine after that.

Blurring pictures

I had the same problem. Somehow my flash was set on "SL - Keep subjects and distant backgrounds bright." When I changed the flash to "Auto", it seemed to get rid of the blurry pictures.
