Question about Samsung SCH-u740 Cellular Phone
When I put music on my Juke phone then disconnect it the must won't play. I just stays at 0:00. All of my other songs will play. Just not the ones I just put on there. The songs I'm trying to put on my phone are in mp3 and wma format, they will play on the computer, and they will go on the phone.. they just won't play. Thanks for your time.
Had the same problem with being able to load MP3 songs onto the phone but they would not play. Elapsed song time indicator remained at 0.00.
In Windows Media Player, select Sync Menu......then Samsung Juke........then Format. The warning states that you will lose all data. This only pertains to the songs that you cannot get to work anyway. Your stored phone #'s will still be there after the reformat.
I reformatted and reloaded the MP3's and everythings now works just fine.

WOW, reformatting did the trick. All this time I thought me dropping my phone on cement caused something to break. 2 months w/o listening to music on my phone HAHA. Thanks Rscreamer

My problem is that when the put the music on my phone it recognized that it was on the phone. when the close the phone to play my songs this thing on the top of the screen comes up
and its a lock. so i look up in the manual and it says its a phone lock and it prevents any external keys from being used. well i need to use the wheel and stuff to play my songs but the are disabled, i cant use them till i disable the phone lock. How do I disable the phone lock?

What you could try is to master clear the phone, which would remove all data on the phone and reset it back to the first time you bought the phone.
Or just take the phone and have it reflash.

I GOT IT!!! after about a half hour or messin around... i figured out the problem and it goes something like this:
i first put music on my phone using my old dell laptop, and then erased that music and replaced it with my newer dell desktop computer. when i put files on the phone using this computer they wouldn't play, but then when i went back to the laptop, i found that one of the original files that i had put on the phone was still there and was never erased like i thought. the newer songs didn't even show up in the music folder. so i added songs from my laptop again and like magic... its playing music again.
basically, just try and use the computer you originally used to deal with the music. and make sure u goto music - sync phone first. if this works... your welcome
