Samsung A503 i dropped my camera and now it has a white screen, i don't know how to fic it, plz help me

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.


The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.


Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

This is the third time I tried, don't know if the other two came through.
There is a black ring around the lens that has 2 dots on either side of a pointer. On the case is a pic of a flower and a mountain. Turning the pointer so it is to the mountain side takes it out of macro. I had to download the manual for mine and found the answer on page 16.

lens assembly (barrel unit) struck up. slightly push lens while power off & pull the lens while power on. repeat this 2 to 3 times it will works. dont apply any oil in the barrel unit. but you may use body spray or room spray to solve this issue permanently

That is actually the exact same thing I am experiencing but mine has grey lines on the display window. I was able to take photos to a grey screen connect it to my comp...low and behold my pics showed....I am furious....need some answers as I will never hear the end of it from my daughter.

no, the white balancing/CCD is shot. replace it.

ummm...im kinda having the same problem except mine is a black screen. if u find anything out about urs can u let me know please. [email protected] thanks

Oh my gosh this really works! Our screen went white, we hadn't dropped it or anything. The camera still worked fine but we just couldn't see what we were taking a picture of. We tried this solution and now we can see the picture through the screen perfectly. THANKS for posting this!

Replace the camera - these items don't get repaired. How ever if you are a nimble fingered person with some fine tools- taking it apart with care you may fine it is nothing more that an tiny connector has become unplugged.- But no repair shop will waste costly time time only to find out it is worse as there are generally speaking no spares.
