Hello,

This is power problem, i advice you change the outlet you are trying to plug your printer to see if it will power up, it that did not solve the problem, then you will need to change the power cord to that printer because it could be that the power cord is malfunctioning and not supplying full current to power the printer, so i suggest you change the printer power cord to test another power and see if it will power up.

I have a sony vaio pcv-rs420. well it wont boot or nothing. it turns on but thats it . i called sony support and they said they don't issue that disk anymore. the recovery disk. they want to charge me $$$$...

I am asuming you have a video signal but your operating system is corrupt. You mention you dont have and cannot get the recovery disk. If you dont want to spring for a new operating system go get a free one like Ubuntu 10.10 LTS ... Of course this means that you will have to have access to another computer that can download the ISO image and burn it to a CD. Good luck.

I have an older sony vaio pcv-2244 desktop and my hard drive went bad Im trying to replace it with a seagate 320 gig ..... it wont complete any new install of an operating system what to do ?

That could only mean that the new hard drive that you purchased is not compatible with the type of motherboard that you currently have. What you should have done is gone into the store and bought the same hard drive and then installed windows. I know it sounds petty but that's the way most computers are!

Comp stuck on vaio screen

It might be a motor going bad, as in a HDD or fan. Try to pinpoint where the noise originates. Is it coming from the speakers or somewhere else?

one of the files in the system32 directory in the windows folder is corrupt, the files in the system32 folder contains vital files for the boot procedure, try to start the machine in "safe mode" by pressing F8 after the sony boot screen, if it allows you into the operating system you will need to choose "system Restore" take the time back to at least a week before your problems started DO NOT CREATE A RESTORE POINT

Paper jam in the auto duplexer (while printing double side only) Epson K101 while printing double side, after side A is printed the sheet returns inside and then a loud sound is made by the printer. The sheet get stuck inside, it stops while entering the first roller. In the photos you can see a dent is created in the sheet, this dent is from the sheet hitting the white roller I took in another photo.
