General Quality My wife bought me an Exilim EX-Z60 last year as an upgrade for my Nikon coolpix 3200. I love the style and screen size but the Nikon ALWAYS gives superior pictures. Is this just the low end of the flat cameras or should I expect more. I noticed that on my movies the sound ends about 5 seconds before the video does.

The Casio cameras tend to be the low end of the digital camera market. And Nikon is not near the top, nor Kodak or HP. The best digital cameras are from Sony and Canon, and I personally believe that the Canons are the better choice. While the Sony's are good enough cameras, I hate Sony for so many reasons (rootkits, DRM, etc) and refuse to support them by purchasing their products.

Just go down to Ritz camera, Bestbuy, Circuitcity, etc, and try a couple of different models.

Casio Exilim EX-Z60 6MP lines

No, it is not caused by settings. Probably CCD sensor is bad. !!! Check if there is possibility of free of charge repair !!! Many models are repaired free with CCD broken, even warranty time is passed.

Casio exilim - disaster

This sounds like internal problem with the camera. If it is under a year old it is under warranty. You can follow these links to locate a service center and/or start a repair claim online.

System error showing up on Nikon coolpix 3200

A System Error is a general error which can be caused by many things: lens problem, CF Card problem, general camera failure, etc. Before sending the camera in, check these:

1. Use the memory card that originally came with the camera (or a Nikon approved card)
2. Remove and replace the battery

If the error is still displayed, contact Nikon's Service Department (below). If the above tips do not help the camera must be sent to Nikon Service, there are no user serviceable parts on Nikon Coolpix cameras.

Malfunctioning of Digicam

Depends, if you are charing and the battery is flashing instead of steady then Casio will replace it if you have purchased in the last year. Could also be the brand and size of memory card. Casio only recommends Sandisc, Toshiba, and Panasonic. An EX-Z60 can use up to a 2 GB unless you have done a firmware upgrade for a 4 GB card. If none of those seem to help then it would have to be send it. Lens errors are easy to get on the camera and that can keep the camera from powering on. 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 2 and they will tell you where to send it.

Lcd for z50

Not real sure on that one. Sorry. You can check the casio.com website and see if they are the same size. If they are they might be interchangeable.
