Hi- We have a Hitachi 55FX48B tv. Turned it off one night and turned on the next morning- NO audio. The picture is fine and clear. If you press volume up, you hear some static/feedback in the speakers, but still no audio. Any suggestions would be great!Hi- We have a Hitachi 55FX48B tv. the audio amplifier inside the tv "blew up" after 8 years this is nothing unusual. my gut feeling is to hook up your surround sound for your audio. paying to fix this would cost $$$$
I realized that I bought a piece of junk. It will probably cost me as much to fix it as it did to buy it. Therefore I wont be buying another piece of junk plasma tv. I will buy a product that is warranteed for a reasonable time. My TV was a Hitachi but from what I read from other plasma tv owners, they are all the same. What kind of company sells products that last for a fraction of time in relation to the cost? How can we continue to purchase inferior products for outrageous money? Remember the old TVs, they lasted for years for a fraction of the price!!
