Wires-wires-wires what exactly do I need to get to use the Samsung HT-X50 Theater System as a wireless system. The system is working great---the wires, however are driving me insane! I understant that I need a wireless module but I'm just not sure if I am supposed to get a particular kind. I appreciate your help!
Yes they make one for x50 from samsung .com u nee dto buy for it ok only use thers 60 70 bucks they want u can call them direct also for the part or visit www.samsung.com ok

Look into the TV's audio controls. If it was my setup, I'd NOT send audio through the TV to the hifi, nor video through the hifi to the TV. Additional hops and interconnects cause problems even though they're theoretically transparent.
You have probably set the sleep timer. Here's how to switch it off: To cancel the sleep timer, press the SLEEP button until <OFF> appears on the display.
Mine is 5. Press the TV button and let it go. When it quits glowing press the power button and hold it down. Then press a number (1-86) on the keypad while holding the power button down. If the TV turns off, you are done. Press the power button again and the tv should come on. If it does not work. Release the power button for a second and then repeat with a different number until the tv turns off.
With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.
Power on the home theater system.
With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.
If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.
you need to format as fat32... use a mac computer... otherwise it wont recognize it... no NTFS... just fat32... that is how i did it.. hope this helps you.
How can I get surround sound to work on my tv. When I pull up my menu and go to audio the SRS Trusurround XT is not in bold so I cant figure how to connect it so I can have the surround sound coming from the system and not from the tv. Please help.
thers firmware update i bet for it u may be able to update yourself witth thumb drive in that usb port in front that should help it from samsung.com website x50 ok
