How can i save my songs from my mp3 player to my computer?

Depending on the type of mp3 player, example is an IPOD. You cannot copy songs to or from an IPOD without using the official apple program called itunes.
Some mp3 players are specific to the kind of programs they allow to operate or function and make changes to them(the mp3 player), also, basically all you need to do is to copy the song files from your mp3 player to your computer hard disk.
Hope this was helpful? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya

Can't transfer songs from old ipod to new ipod

The following simple guidance is about transfer music from old iPod to new iPod with the "Transfer Purchases" function of iTunes:

  1. Plug the Old iPod into computer via the USB cable. Then launch iTunes.
  2. Click "File > Device > Transfer Purchases". iTunes will automatically transfer the songs to iTunes library.
  3. Plug the new iPod into computer. Then import the songs from iTunes to the new iPod.

Do you have to have a router to connect your ipod to internet

No you do not require a router to connect your I pod to the internet.

If you wish to load the songs on the I Pod, you can first look for songs on the internet and save them to your computer.
Then you can connect the I POD to the compuet via the USB cable which you would have received with the I pod.

Please connect the usb cable one end on the I pod and the other to the
the computer. The moment you connect the I POD to the computer, the system will detect the IPOD player. You can then save the copy of songs you have downladed on your I POD player.
You can select the sond saved on your compuet by doing a CTRL+C key and then go to MY COMPUTER> and under the drives section it will show your I POD PLAYER. CLICK ON THE PHILIPS PLAYER TO GO INSIDE SO THAT YOU CAN DO A CTRL+V and copy the songs on the I POD player.

That should do the trick and you shoudl be able to listen to your favourite songs on the move.

Please rate me if you are happy with the support provided.

Doesn't reocognize songs and Ipod

Try booting it into disk mode. Do this by clicking on the menu and center buttons at the same time. When you see the apple logo, immediatley hold the centerbutton and play button down at the same time for 10 seconds. The ipod should now say disk mode at the bottom and have a check mark on the screen.

Then connect it to your computer, and format it using your computer. To do that click on my computer, then right click on the drive letter assigned to your ipod (should be like drive I: or H: or similar.. Then scroll down to format and click on format. This should reformat the ipod completely.
Once that is done disconnect your ipod from the computer and reset it again using the center and menu buttons. After it reboots, try reconnecting it to you r computer and see if it is fixed.

IPOD ? playlist backup

If your IPOD is set to automatic song transfer, and you created an ?on the go? playlist, the IPOD will automatically transfer all songs along with the playlist. I haven?t tried the following myself yet, but this is the only way that I can think of: Cancel the auto transfer option ? from the source list in itunes choose the iPod icon and press on the options button. Choose ?manually manage songs and playlists? If it doesn?t work then I guess its more of a one directional thing, that you get more options going from the PC to the iPod then the other way around.
