A) Discs are scratched.
B) Lens is dirty.
C) You might have a similar problem to what I did. My Wii was scratching rings on our game discs as we played.
If your discs are scratched, check Google Maps to see if there's a Play-N-Trade near you-they resurface game discs at low prices.
If your lens is dirty, the Wii itself is the problem-any DVD laser-lens-cleaner disc will work fine.
Again, your Wii might be defective.
It seems part of my answer was cut off: Contact Nintendo-they will send you a new Wii at discounted price, and replace your games for free since their system caused the damage. If Nintendo didn't manufacture the games that were destroyed, they will send you a list of equal-value games to choose from. (This is how I got to playing the Animal Crossing series-Nintendo sent me City Folk after my Rabbids game broke.)
