If the TV does not stay on, press the POWER button on the control panel for at least eight seconds to perform System Reset. The TV will turn off. Power on the TV and the green LED will flash quickly for about one minute. The changes you made most recently, before using SYSTEM RESET, may be lost. If this happens frequently, obtain an AC line power conditioner/surge protector.
An unusual digital signal may have been received, triggering a protection circuit. Wait for the light to stop flashing and turn TV on.
Momentary power fluctuation caused the TV to turn off to prevent damage. Wait for the green light to stop flashing and turn the TV on again
Hello, please ask who the scooter was purchased from.If you start taking things apart or the like, they could say.You should have came back to us and it could affect your guarantee.I believe going back to the last person you deal with can save a lot of problems,I hope this helped.Colin
Hello vitto616,
This happened to one of my tv but may not be the same for you. Seems like the tv got surged. Look to see if a power light comes on. If not try different power outlets as well. If nothing then yes probably got surged. Unfortunately you may need to contact your manufacture or any local tv repair techs. Just make sure you don't get ripped off by them and see if there is anyone that will do a diagnosis for free. I hope this helps, give me your feedback if it doesn't. Good luck.

just happened to us, we unplugged in from the surge protector and plugged it in the regular wall outlet and were able to get the tv to come on, don't know why, but it worked

this TV has built-in MOV's, the exact same thing you find in the surge protection bars... perhaps one of those has done it's job and fried OR something totally different is working a mess on the PwrSup board, like the 450V cap that is always powered at least under 150V while the set is off and pluged in with amber light.
If you don't know you way around PWM electonics your next step may be to call Vizio. Good luck on getting this resolved to your satisfaction for less than $300.
