I am trying to hook up a Sony BDP-S360 via HDMI

I am trying to hook up a Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray via HDMI cables. The audio comes through fine but no picture or even set-up screen comes up. It's fine when I set it up via analog. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks. I have a Sony KDS-55A2000 TV and a Sony STR-DG900 AV receiver. I checked the HDMI inputs via the setup menu and there is no indication that they need to be enabled.

I don't know what kind of TV you have, but on some TVs the HDMI inputs have to be enabled via the TV setup menu. Try looking at the setup status.

I have gained a sony BDP-S360 Blue ray disc player, but without manual. What are the main parts necessary to adapt this equipmament on my TV? Which cable connections?

start from depending on your tv with hdmi-RGB-s-vid-component that is a little list starting from best to worst just match it up with your tv until you get a color fit and this will rule out best picture too then set tv input accordingly :)

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, is there a cable box (receiver) used? If yes, please postback the brand & model number.

Offhand, best connection would be HDMI OUT of the Sony BDP-S360 to HDMI 2 of the LG 32LC2D.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

I just hooked up a sony blue ray to Samsung HD TV and it worked initially and now the tv does not get a signal from Blue ray model BDP-S360

Please unplug the Cable from the Blu-ray Player to the TV.
Then, press and hold the STOP button on the Blu-ray Player for more than 10 seconds.
Then, connect the cable from the Blu-ray Player to the TV and check whether it helps.

BLue ray DVD player

I am not sure about the Sony BDP-S300 Blu-Ray Disc Player: But the Samsung BD-P1000 Blu-Ray Disc Player requires HDMI cable
to give the best resolution (1080p) possible that the TV set is able
to support. Hope this helps.
