My set display is not working by it get on, and the keypad lights are burning but no display

    Can turn phone and off, receive calls, and keypad lights are all going, but no screen display

    Hi,

    If i charge my cell then screen will become white. thereafter i can not see the menu . After charge goes down to one point then i can see the menu after switch on and switch of my cell

    This fault started after changing stipp(ribbon connector)
    any idea?

How to remove slider.
In my mobile the display ribbon connector was cut so i do not know how to remove slide to change the ribbon connector.
Can you sent picture regarding servicing (to remove circute board and slider.

No, The SIM does not make changes to the phone settings like Display.

Go to Menu-->Settings--> 3. Display and Light Settings--> 2. Light Settings--> 2. Backlight Time.

Set ON to Lower side like 10 Seconds and DIM to Off (or less than ON Timer). This will turn off the display in 10 seconds.

D900 FAQ – How do I disable or mute the keypad tone on my SGH-D900? admin ⋅ March 6, 2009 --> Note: In order to disable the keypad tone, the Dialing Display Font Type must first be set to “Normal”
To change the dialing display font type follow the steps below:
  1. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Display Settings (3)
  4. Select Dialing Display (6)
  5. Select Font Type (1)
  6. Highlight either Normal or Theme, using the navigation keys
  7. Press the left soft key to Save the Dialing Display Font Type setting
To turn off the keypad tone follow the steps below:
  1. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Sound Settings (4)
  4. Select Keypad Tone (2)
  5. Highlight Off, using the up navigation key

Samsung sgh-A727 and I cant remember the power on password
To reset the handset, to the factory default settings, follow the steps below:
  1. While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Reset Settings (10)
  4. Highlight, using the navigation keys, any of the following:
    • All: Phone, Display, Profile and Alarm settings will be returned to default values
    • Phone Settings: only phone settings will be returned to default values
    • Display Settings: only display settings will be returned to default values
    • Profiles: only profile settings will be returned to default values
    • Alarms: only alarm settings will be returned to default values
  5. Press the center navigation key to check the box(es) of reset settings
  6. Press the left soft key for OK to set the Reset
  7. Enter the password, using the keypad, default password is “00000000”
  8. Press the left soft key for Confirm
  9. Enter the password again to confirm, using the keypad
  10. Press the left soft key for Confirm
  11. Press the left soft key for Yes to reset the handset's settings to the factory defaults

You need to change the display, change the display so that handwriting is NOT selected and then you can change the keypad tone.
