Remove any SD card, turn on the frame, then press the "Exit" button 1 time on your remote. You will see the side menu flash, this indicates that you can now navigate up or down in that menu(Press enter on remote to activate the highlighted sub-menu) Press "Exit" again this puts you in the Media Memory menu, navigate to "Internal Memory" Press "Exit" one more time, this will allow you to navigate through photo's stored in the internal memory. Now if you press "Setup" on your remote it will bring up the copy/delete menu! navigate this menu with the up/down arrows on your remote to which ever option you prefer, press "Enter" to execute the highlighted command.

Don't forget to let me know if this helps anyone!

In order to erase/delete pictures on your SD card you will need to do this while your card is either in your camera or card reader for your computer. Each camera is different, but all are menu driven.
Typically you can find an erase currently selected photo command on most cameras by selecting OK while viewing a specific photo. On a computer you need to open the SD cards Icon by double clicking on it, then highlight the specific photo files to be erased, and either press the "Delete" key on your keyboard, or right click and choose delete.

I tried to use a 16GB PNYcard in my picture fram and it would not work. It said "No Card" on the screen. What's the answer?

If your picture frame is not recognizing the 16GB PNY card and displaying a "No Card" message, there could be several reasons for this issue:
  1. Compatibility: Some picture frames may have limitations on the size or type of memory card they can accept. Ensure that the picture frame is compatible with SDHC or SDXC cards, as these are the types commonly used for higher-capacity cards like 16GB.
  2. File System: Check if the memory card is formatted in a compatible file system such as FAT32 or exFAT. Some picture frames may not recognize cards formatted in other file systems. You may need to format the card using a compatible file system on your computer before using it in the picture frame.
  3. Card Reader Slot: Ensure that the memory card is inserted correctly into the card reader slot of the picture frame. Sometimes, improper insertion can prevent the device from detecting the card.
  4. Card Compatibility: While SDHC and SDXC cards are generally backward-compatible with devices that support SD cards, some older picture frames may have limited compatibility with higher-capacity SD cards. Try using a lower-capacity SD card (e.g., 2GB or 4GB) to see if the picture frame recognizes it.
  5. Faulty Card or Picture Frame: If none of the above solutions work, there may be an issue with either the memory card or the picture frame itself. Try using the memory card in a different device to check if it's functioning correctly. Similarly, try using a different memory card in the picture frame to see if it's able to recognize it. If the problem persists, there may be a hardware issue with either the card or the picture frame, and you may need to contact the manufacturer for assistance or consider replacing the faulty component.
By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to determine the cause of the issue and resolve it accordingly.

Erasing the memory card;

All pictures in the internal memory and/or on the memory card can be erased at once. This is accomplished through either formatting or the "all-frame erase" function. I copied the following instructions from the advanced manual, which can be downloaded here: http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/d545zadvman.pdf. Adobe reader should open that file with no problem. If it doesn't, that's another issue altogether.

1. Enter playback mode by pressing the play button.
2. Press the OK MENU button.
3. Press the right arrow button (next to the lightning bolt) to access [MODE MENU]
4. Then, press the down arrow to access the [MEMORY(CARD)] tab.
5. Select the [ALL ERASE] function.
6. Select Yes and press OK MENU.

(You'll need to use the arrow buttons to navigate the menus. Please see pg 16 of the manual for instructions on how to do so.)

Note: when the memory card is in the camera, it will erase the pictures off the card. When the card is removed, the function above will erase the internal memory.

Nextar photo frame won't work

Sometimes the memory card contacts develop dirty contacts. Might take a pencil eraser and lightly clean them and try again.

You can add memory to your camera by purchasing an xd memory card.
Compatible cards
xD-Picture Card (16MB – 1GB)
There are two ways to record the pictures you take with this camera.
Recording pictures to the internal memory
• Pictures are recorded to the internal memory, and when the number of storable still
pictures reaches 0, you must connect the camera to a computer to download the
pictures, and then erase the pictures from the internal memory.
Using an xD-Picture Card (optional)
• Pictures are recorded to the card when inserted in the camera. When the card is
full, you download the pictures to a computer, and then either erase the pictures
from the card or use a new card.
• Pictures are not recorded to the internal memory when a card is inserted in the
camera. Pictures in the internal memory can be copied to the card using the
[BACKUP] function.
