My watch has the same exact problem. I tried the reset with all 4 buttons prior to reading this and that did not work either. I have also replaced the battery to no avail.

Usually after changing the battery you need to "ac" it, which means to restart the ic, or else the light will keep on. please check there is a area on the pc board says "AC". all you need to do is use a metal pin to contact it. if it dosn't work then try press all push buttom at same time, it has the same function as press "AC"

I had the same problem - replaced the battery of my Nike Triax Fury and the time was blinking and none of the buttons were working. Turns out that you need both springs placed in the proper spot - the silver and gold springs. Both springs can be placed in their proper spot with the batter in. The gold one goes in the tiny hole near the "view" spot, and the silver spring goes year the 'cage' that holds the battery in place accross from the gold spring. Unfortunately, I can't add a photo or I would. Good luck.
You can't change it yourself without doing damage. You will need to send into Nike or more accurately an authorized nike watch repair center that is close to you hopefully.
Nike customer service or a google search for authorized nike watch repair in XXX-city will get one close to you.
Did you just have the battery changed? Sometimes once a watch is open and things are moved around, the connection wires that are pushed by the buttons will need to be adjusted.I would take to a watchmaker/jeweler to have looked at.
sounds like the contact inside for the ligt button is stuck on. Remove the back again and take a look at the contact under the light button to see if it is stuck, if so, GENTLY pry it out a bit so it's not touching all the time... GOOD LUCK
