The Windows error "I/O Device Error" means
there is an error in the computer's ability to read data when you try to
install a program or to copy data from your device such as a CD Rom, external
hard drive or digital camera. To resolve this issue, try connecting the camera
to a different USB port. Also try to uninstall and reinstall the driver. If
both suggestions fail, we would recommend trying it on a different computer to
see if the camera is defective. If it works on another computer with no
problems, the issue may be with the computer. We would recommend a Windows
update or contacting your computer manufacture for further assistance. A simple
solution that many other users try is a card reader.
