I tried to connect my razr cell phone to my laptop (vista operated) and sync it with Motorola Phone Tools software but it does not recognize the phone.
This problem is maybe Windows Vista, because when I synched my Palm, my vista did not recognise it so I guess if you use your RAZR on a Windows XP-based computer.

The should be some Sync software that you can get from motorola. You could also, take the memory chip out of the phone, and plug that nito a card reader, and transfer the music that way.
i think ur software is not for vista environment. Download latest motorola phone tools for vista from motorola wesite. or try running ur current phone tools on XP environment..
Use Motorola Phone Tools 4.5 software. And no, it's not free. Oh, and if you happen to have Verizon as your cellular provider, then Motorola Phones Tools will not let you transfer photos and music/ringtones.
