No audio on bluray from a movie on my thumbdrive

I have movies on my computer that i wanted to watch on the blu-ray player, and some of them do work, but others say that the audio will not work. i dont understand why this is happening. all of the files are .AVI formats. so im not sure why some would work and others wont.

I've updated firmware...my player still won't play my BluRay concerts ( Take That and Robbie Williams) which it used to. Plays BluRay movies ok and BluRay 3D movies no problem.

Are you sure that your Take That Blu-Ray disk is playable?
Test it on tha player of a friend

Bluray players cannot be updated to add more regions. You will need to purchase a Bluray player that supports the region of the movies you are trying to watch.

Bluray player can't hear voices but background music

Either the player or the set it is hooked to may have in the audio settings a "Hall" or similar setting--background will be louder than people speaking---its a setting.

What is brand of TV? (Toshiba?)

Your computer may not have a blu-ray disk drive. You need to install one in order to watch blu-ray movies on your computer. Hope this helps, good luck.

LG Model BD570 won't play THX 1138. It plays other movies, but not this one. The disc starts, it plays the anti-piracy warning, the Warner Brothers logo, then stops when a spinning disc icon comes on. The...

You'll need to plug in an external USB thumbdrive (or SD card if your unit accepts one) to watch this video.
Be sure to "initialize" the thumbdrive in the settings menu after you plug it in. Restart your movie and it should load properly after 10-15 seconds.

Having audio problems with Toy Story 3 blu ray movie. Previews are fine, but movie is nothing but static. Tried the same dvd in a Sony player and did not experience issue. There are many posts online...

Once main feature has started, press audio button twice on remote control as movie is playing and audio problem will be gone.

My bluray player in my acer comes up with a "cannot play right protected content" when i try and play a bluray dvd in my bluray player

if that is a copy of a blu ray movie you are trying to watch... when the copy was made the copyright protection was not removed before it was recorded.

Xp + blu-ray uj-120 slim external usb. can't read blu-ray movie files in windows explorer or watch in powerDVD7. in windows explorer it shows as a dvd-rw when empty and a cd-rom when movie inserted. please...

try to reinstall the cd software that comes with your bluray drive. that should work..if not try your bluray drive on other computers if you have the same problem..i think you have a problem with your bluray drive...hope this helps..ITTech7574
