This set has two small plastic caps located on the front panel near the bottom. After you remove the caps you will find two screws behind them.

Most sony speaker grilles are the pop off kind. Some have tiny screws on the side. If you dony see any visible screws on the side just take something flat like a butter knife and just gently slide it in between the grille and case and pry gently it should loosen up and pop out do both sides a little at a time. If it doesnt come off easy doulbe check for screws.

How do i remove the Sony MHC-EC98PI speaker grills?

Insert some sort of scrapper at bottom of speaker box where front grille and box joins and hit scrapper blade with rubber hammer to bring out grille because it is fixed very tightly with box.
Following images are scrapper and exploded view of speaker box that will help you.

I have a sony model kdf-e42a10 and I'm trying to replace my screen. However, I have removed all the screws for the top to the bottom, but can't find the bottom screws. Help please.

Remove front speaker grille block assembly as shown in below image then remove screws under that cover to take off front screen as rear screws have already been removed.
Hope this info will help you.

Sony rear projection tv model KP-53V15 turns on, have sound but no picture, after a while, picture comes on, but later goes out again, picture keeps coming and going. Where do I start looking?

Adjust Screen Volts (G2) of all 3 picture tubes and screen volt control knobs are on focus block located under speaker grills at front of TV.
Remove speaker front grille of TV, look for focus block that has 6 control knobs, 3 knobs are for focus and 3 for screen volts, increase volts by turning little bit control knobs of screen volts and this will solve your problem.

Remove Speaker Grille from Sony KP-65WV700

So you got the six screws undone, great! Now you can pop off the front speaker grill. The easiest way is to work your hand along the top and bottom to pop the plastic out of the "holders"

If what you are describing to me is the main wires still attached to the rest of the TV. So don't pull it out too far! If you do it right you won't have to unplug the wires, and save yourself some hassle... with this TV you'll have to pull it out JUST ENOUGH to get access to the carboard/masonite backing, removing such will give you full access to the six controls.

Adjust from there! Sorry for the wait, and I hope this helped out!

Cant get to lamp

Remove the front speaker grill and then you can access the door that is held in place with one screw. The speaker grill can be hard to remove sometimes, but be careful.

I hope that I have provided the correct information that will assist you in the resolution of this issue. If you have any questions, please post back with a comment to this thread.

How do I remove the cloth grill cover from the front of speaker?

Some speaker manufacturers design their boxes with non-removable front grills. Be thankful that you can remove the back because I've seen these sealed as well. Once inside, the speakers should be mounted from the inside (mounting screws on inside) compared to front mounted. IF they are not then either you're not using the proper method to remove the grill OR it's glued in place and will require breaking the glue bond to release the grill. One note to remember...non-removable grills can mean the manufacturer has something to hide.

Removing the speaker grill from my Sony KP-53HS10

There are two screws (1/4 in. philips) located in the lower left and right front of the cabinet near the floor. They may be concealed by a plastic overlay. It can be popped off with a small screwdriver.

Be careful!
