There are many options that do not require a full address for 'Navigate to':
1) Address -> Crossing or Intersection
2) Scroll right Arrow -> Point on Map
3) Scroll right Arrow -> Latitude Longitude

Hope it helps

How to plot my map in this gps

Hello,

The 60 CSX dosent support custom maps but if you are looking to plan a route or plot waypoints the easiest way is to acquire a copy of Garmins TOPO disks and do all of this on the PC. You can also do this on the unit using " Mark Waypoint".

Hope this helps!

Why would one turn " GPS Simulator" on or off ? What does this do for me?

hi, you didnt mention what model gps you have, but most gps simulation do the same thing. if you have the simulation activated (some models are on by default, others are off by default) once you put in an address for the gps to guide you, the gps (if in simulation mode) will show you the coarse you will be taken, before you start out.

so if your in NY and plot a coarse for California, it will show you moving along the plotted coarse...thats going to take quite a while to view since the simulation will move along at what ever the posted speed limit is along the route, so its kinda like watching grass grow unless it doesn't take much to amuse the person watching the simulation. it is quite handy in that it allows you to view turns and intersections ect ect ect before you ever get to them.

hope this makes sense...let me know if i need to explain it better, but if you turn on the simulation mode then enter an address, you'll see what i mean.

Will not plot route in mexico

I assume it works ok in the U.S., and most of Mexico. Assuming that, it will be one of two things. 1. Either the locations are not programmed into their software, or you need an update to your GPS. My guess is that they haven't updated yet. I would message Tom Tom to let them know your concerns- sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Good luck, know it's aggravating.

Having trouble with my TI-83 plus

Hello,
Some old junk is in memory. Reset the memory to defaults and everything will be fine. It is a good practice to clear memory before a new calculation.
To reset memory
Press [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All ram][2:Reset] [EMTER] . Clear screen and enter the functions you want to graph.
Hope it helps.
