Mp3 12gb when iturn it on faterror! connect ums what does that mean???

if you are receiving a "faterror," your media player is not partitioned in the format that the receiver is used to. To fix this, you can plug your mp3 player into a computer and right click on it, pressing "Format." From there, you can try any of the options available-- Try FAT32 first. As a warning, your music on the mp3 player will be deleted in this process, so you should probably back up your files before doing this.

My Sony Walkman NWZ B153F is freeze on fm radio. I cannot turn off, do enithing. So? Thanks!

Carlos Barrera Chaupis on Walkman NWZ-B153F:
I used to have the same problem. But the freezing can also happen when you try to turn it on. You may also eventually have problems while trying to copy files from your computer to the device. A little window appears saying the copy couldn't be accomplished because the devise just turn itself off. (?)

Download music

You can download mp3 music off the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player OR you can convert your CDs to mp3 music files and the copy them to your player.
MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. Music files need to be converted to mp3 file format before copying to the MP3 player. Please click on this link and follow my instruction to convert music files :-

My creative has started periodically to freeze and some tracks on it, which were fine, have started to jump

back up all the files, format the file system, copy the content again. For up to 2GB file system should be FAT16, over 2GB - FAT32.

Sana e280 frozen screen reads Refresh Database

put the player in recovery mode by placing the hold slide button at the top of the player so that the red showes, held down the record button while turning on the player. upon connecting the USB cable the unit will go into the recover mode. Go to my computer and look for the drive which states "16MB Format" and copy the firmware files into it. Disconecting the cable after the files are copied will cause the player to reload the firmware. The player will restart and then shut off because of the Hold button position. Slide the Hold button back into normal mode and push the menu button to restart. The unit will power up and display the language settings. I went to the settings menu and changed the player USB setting to USC. I then placed the player in recovery mode again and went to the MY Computer again and set window to show hidden files. This allowes windows to see the database drive. I then ran chkdsk on the database drive which found a lot of crossed linked files. This then allowed me to delete all the files in the database. Upon comming out of the recovery mode the unit restarted normaly.
You can get the firmware at this site. http://mp3support.sandisk.com/firmware/e200/e200v101.02.18a.zip

Freezes

Reset by removing and reinserting batteries
iRiver H10 - Missing System Files
You must be connected to the internet for this to work: 1.Download the MTP Firm Updater Utility from iriver website - iriverinc.com/support (Audio Jukebox --> H10) 2. Unzip file, run .exe file, go thorugh wizard (if you are not in mass storage mode, it will give you instructions on the wizard on how to change this) 3. Select Recovery 4. Finish going through wizard 5. disconnect iRiver from computer, and wait for it to update - your player should be good.
If the problem happens again, then uninstall Windows Media Player 11 from your computer and rollback to Windows Media Player 10 (you will NOT lose any songs by doing so).
Good luck!
