Bosch convection microwave HMC87151UC does not heat in convection mode.

The issue you're experiencing with your Bosch convection microwave not heating in convection mode could be caused by a few different things. Here are a few things to check:
  1. Check the settings: Make sure that the microwave is set to convection mode and that the temperature and time settings are correct.
  2. Check the element: The bottom heating element is responsible for providing heat during convection mode. Make sure that the element is not damaged or burnt out. You can visually inspect it, if it is damaged it will need to be replaced.
  3. Check the fan: The fan is responsible for circulating hot air during convection mode. Make sure that the fan is not blocked or damaged. If it is, it will need to be replaced.
  4. Check the control board: The control board is responsible for controlling the functions of the microwave. A malfunctioning control board could prevent the microwave from heating in convection mode.
  5. Check for a blown thermal fuse: A thermal fuse is a safety device that cuts off power to the oven if it overheats. If the thermal fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced.
  6. Check for a blown thermal cut-off: A thermal cut-off is a device that cuts off power to the oven if it overheats. If the thermal cut-off is blown, it will need to be replaced.

Kitchenaid Superba 27 built-in Microwave/Oven

Disconnect it from power outlet for 30 minutes to hard reset the owen. It may be a faulty control panel or the fan thermistore switch.

Probe light on convection oven stays on. Clock won't display. Oven still works though.

Sounds like the control board is not communicating correctly with the rest of the unit, consult a professional.

F2 appears on the front panel and there is a fan that is running and won't turn off. What should I do?

F2 Oven too hot Check oven temperature sensor
The problem is either with the sensor or the wire between the sensor and the control panel.

The sensor is the metal rod that is inside your oven, it comes in on the back wall and is a little smaller than a pencil

Should the fan on my built in electric convection oven come on during normal 'bake' mode (ie not 'convect' mode ?

There is a fan for cooling down whole oven, it can turn on and off during the regular bake or broil cycle to cool down the oven on the outside. It's controlled by its own thermostat, so it will even stay on for awhile when you turn the bake off.

Fridgidaire Wall Oven will not heat

1) If there is a reset on the electronic panel try that.
2) Set the temperature to 200 and see if works then.
3) Put a baking tin in the oven with a piece of meat in it.
4) Uninstall the Wall Oven and take the back off and check the wiring for the elements and the convection fan.

Oven does not heat

I would suggest that you check the oven element, it sounds as though it is faulty to me.

Cooling and/or convection fan

I had the same problem. The screen protecting the fan bends into the fan from the heat. Take off the top front control panel (3 screws), reach in to the back where the fan is and push the screen back away from the fan. As always, turn the power off first to avoid shock. This should solve your noise problem.
