I am assuming when you say the door dispenser drips, that you mean the water dispenser. I had the same problem with my Samsung fridge Freezer, it just turned out to be that the water pressure from the tap supplying the dispenser was turned up too high, the advice I was given (from an engineer) was to turn down the pressure a little then run the dispenser for approx half a litre, then let it sit for a while to see if the drip continues, if it does, try again, it took a few adjustments but we're running fine now, but don't forget, it's normal for a dispenser to drip once or twice after its use. Good luck.

Before you call for severcie you should run about 1/2 a gallon of water through the system to make sure the it is cleaned out and no air bubbles in the system. But if you do that and it still doesn't correct itself, then YES - call for service.

there may be a problem with the water lines or bottles in the fridge compartment is frozen raise the temp in the fridges to about 38 for a couple of days and this should unthaw the lines

You replaced the copper tubing again with plastic tubing...no better. Any suggestions? First you must know you have a 1 year warranty and can have them come out to fix anything, no charge.If it persists. You will have to get tough and you , MUST INSIST THEY REPLACE YOUR FRIDGE


When installing the water line these were a part of the directions!
Did you do this before connecting the water line to your fridge?
"Place the free end of the tubing in a container or sink, and
turn ON the main water supply. Flush the tubing until water is
clear. Turn OFF the shutoff valve on the water pipe. Coil the
copper tubing."

1.Are the plumbing connections new, causing discolored or
off-flavored ice? Discard the first few batches of ice.
2.Have the ice cubes been stored too long? Throw old ice
away and make a new supply.
3.Does the freezer and ice storage bin need to be cleaned?

4.Has food in the freezer or refrigerator been wrapped
properly? Use airtight, moisture-proof packaging to help
prevent odor transfer to stored food.
5.Does the water contain minerals (such as sulfur)? A filter
may need to be installed to remove the minerals.
6. Is there a water filter installed on the refrigerator? Gray or
dark discoloration in ice indicates that the water filtration
system needs additional flushing. Run additional water
through the water dispenser to flush the water filtration
system more thoroughly (at least 2 to 3 gal. [8 to 12 L] or 6 to
7 minutes initially). Discard discolored ice.

Are the water inlet / outlet correctly fitted onto the filter ??
Sounds silly - but very easy mistake seen several times.
Is the water supply for the filter turned on . . remove hoses from filter to verify. - YOU WILL GET WET.

hi tbag-1, you can check the solenoids at the rear of the refrigerator, one of those two is for the ice maker and the other one is for the water dispenser. check for continuity of the coil after you have pick which one is which. or you can check for presence of voltage if somebody is pressing on the switch at the front of the door.if there is no voltage, then the problem could be in the micro switch at the door. it is just a little bit hard to replace it.
