We cooking cinamon buns and the whole oven just turned off. We've got nothing...no light...won't start...nothing. it is on top of a trivection which is cooking a ham right now. This trivection is working fine. Checked the breakers. Is there somewhere else we should look for a breaker or a short? This is in a wall cabinet. Essentially a double oven with the advqantium as the microwave et al.

It's probably a fuse or thermal cutout (TCO) in the unit.

We have the Advantium service manuals here and here.

I have a magic chef MCO165UB that the LCD display is black on and the oven won't operate at all. I've checked the fuse and it ohms out. I checked across the Bottom T.C.O. and don't get con

Sometimes that is a fan switch to turn on the blower if it gets too hot when cooking on the stove top. But you say the schematic shows it should be closed. So jump it and try the unit. if it works OK then replace it.

I just put two frozen hot dog buns wrapped in paper towels in the microwave for 30 sec. After 15, I noticed they were on fire! HOW and WHY? Is it the end of my Frigidaire Microwave?

If the cooking cavity wasn't damaged by the fire then the oven is still okay. The reason for the fire is that water absorbs microwaves very readily. The buns, being frozen, wet the towels as they thawed. Then the towels boiled dry and ignited from the heat. Most microwave oven owner's manuals warn against drying items in the oven for this reason.

RCA Microwave and grilling oven Problem

If nothing works but light comes on, it is often because of a bad control board. The board must be tested before replacement.
